Smoothed-off saloon boot lid - what do you think?

    I say yuck!

See the photos - on a Galant (facelift) on eBay.

Makes you appreciate what a difference a number plate location can do to a car's looks!

    Hmmm, I quite like it!

It is easy to dismiss something because it looks different to the norm, because that's what you're used too.

First thing that came into my mind though was that it makes it look more like an Evo (VII to IX) back end.

Bleh. I don't think it does anything for the looks - It just creates a big void of metal.

It's also a mod that you see on Chav'ed up saxos and the like....

Agreed. Looks Evo-ish....definitely a touch more modern.
Not sure about the overall impact.

Seen this mod on one or two. Can't honestly make up my mind whether I like it or not. It perhaps does make it look a little more modern, but I do like the detail that the normal recess gives.................

Looks awfull imho, to be honest it actually doesnt look like its been done that well For starters its the wrong colour, secondly the finish even in a picture doesnt look top notch, and also the top line cut in just doesnt look symetrical.
Just looks cack, and way to overpriced, almost as much as the one I saw just outside of Croydon saturday 51 plate sport for £3995

My opinion, is that it looks infinitely better than a Legnum that has received the same sort of treatment.
