    Cool Photos From Welly Meet

Ok guys and girls, here's a few pics from our (first?) CVR4 meet today (16-09-06).

Note the excellent fine weather (as usual )

Anyway Rosco_NZ has already put some excellent pics here as well. Well done mate.

Here's a taster of some of mine.

Note the correct "safe" parking distance between cars in the Repco Car park. This is how everyone should park near our cars.

    Enjoy

Question Seen on the Welly Cruise

During our little get together I took the assembled masses.......well all those that wanted too come see anyway.........down to a local after market parts place that does mods of various sorts to cars, to see what someone is getting done to his black facelift manual VR4..............oh boy.............not sure this is what I'd get done, but hey.............each to his own.

    Check out the pics.

Sorry for the poor quality............borrowed camera......couldn't get flash to work

Note the 'lambo' doors and how wide the rear bumper and running boards are going to be..........oh my

I've circled the running boards and the amount the rear bumper is being extended. The guy doing the work told us the rear bumper is for GTO and he's modifing it to fit

    And don't mention the "spinners"

God only knows how much all that lot is costing.

here is the galant vr4 from the workshop we visited in kenepuru.

the engine bay of the vr4, parts are dismantled at the moment.

the spinner, at least one of them anyway.

suicide door of the car. (looks mean)

    spinner (front on view)

the inside, with the huge guage on the right (dont like it). car should look ok i guess when its finished.

note: the spinner is supposed to be on the inside of the rim.... sort of like the deep dish rims.

Yea, was passing that way several weeks ago and it was parked in plain sight outside the panel shop.

They had just finished the engine mods and were about to start those outrageous body mods...............

The guy doing the work was saying there's a NOS kit to be fitted yet as well.............

Will get more pics when it's closer to being finished.

BTW I left our club details with the panel guy, as he was saying he gets a few VR4's through his business, so maybe some more potential members in the wings.
