    Have you disconnected the cable from the sensor on the top of the gear box. the last car i looked at with the same issue had completely corroded terminals on the out put shaft sensor and they just turned to green dust when the cable was disconnected. the issue was a verted bonnet and the water draind collects in the output shaft speed sensor divot in the top of the gearbox. the moral of this story is don't use a vented bonnet in the rain.     My speedo sometimes stops working completely, or the speed starts rising with the revs, and then the gearbox goes into limp mode. I fiddled around a bit with the cable going to the gearbox output sensor, and it worked for a while, but after hitting a bump the poblem comes back. I'm thinking the problem is in the cable or connector of the output sensor, but are there any other obvious places where the fault might be?

    Hello and welcome to ClubVR4. As Davezj has touched on, our MAFs will not work properly in blow-through mode. The way the Karman Vortex generator works requires equal and laminar airflow over it - even changing to a pod filter or replacing the stock airbox messes up the fuelling terribly, and the airflow in blow-through mode will mess with this very delicate and precise metering method.     The factory MAF is not a blow through MAF it is not designed to be pressurised. i have never seen anyone try to pressurise the MAF so i would not know if it would work or not. but it is an expensive mistake to make if it just splits the body open or bursts carman vortex sensor bit. i have seen a Z32 MAF being used in a blow through configuration but but again the plastic housing would rupture and had to be replaced for a metal one. i do not know if that type of maf will work on a 6a13...

    Good luck! I'd be fascinated to see how you get on. People have certainly bought stuff from RPW but not many have got to the need of forged internals so I wouldn't say that there is exhaustive knowledge. Please let us know what you do, photos are always good too! :thumbsup:

    EC5A is a 4WD 2.5l saloon. SYGF2 suggests a super VR4. (Do you have a bit of factory spoiler kit, Recaro front seats, red carpet, purple highlights on the backlit dash?) All super VR4's are mechanically a prefacelift auto with AYC, the "nice" bits are all bolt on things purely for cosmetics. It is Hamilton Silver (A71) and is actually a second week of December 1997 car, although that is when it got to the end of the production line so more than likely was never driven until 1998. Does...

    I know but I want to build something different than swap. I want to put eaton m65, than air to IC and from IC to flow meter. Stock ECU support max 0,6 bar so I will put also piggyback. I am gathering full info and then i will start.
