Hi Folks, I should have joined years ago but just 'never gotten a round tuit' - I am sure I used to have one somewhere. Anyway. It has been an emotional rollercoaster with my VR4 but alas time and the UK weather has taken its toll. If anyone is interested in a Donor Car project, this one is perfect. The engine is as sweet as nut, but alas everything else is pretty shot. Transfer box is U/S, gearbox unknown. But the real damage has been to the structural integrity underneath. If anyone wants...

Anyonr ever thought of doing a relocation of APC pump into the boot. these guys do it EVO's so it can be any different for a VR4 and lets face it everybodies ATC pump is coroded to hell so if you refurb it or want it to last any more than a few more years why wounldl't you move it to the boot. you could do it yourself for much less than they are charging all you need it the replacement flex fluid line and a couple of brackets.

Hi everyone, I know this has been done a gazillion times, but having searched for a day can't quite find the answer to my question. Car is a '98 R Leggy type s, auto. Only just got the car, and have put it through an MOT which it passed first time. Car hadn't really gone anywhere in the previous couple of years according to the previous owner, but had been regularly started and moved on and off drive. When I picked the car up from M.O.T. centre and drove home, the gearbox seemed to slipping...

Never really left the Club (cos you never really leave the Club) but back in a little more after taking ownership of a new car. I am now the proud owner of The Fridge. A car I fell in love with back when elnevio first had it, and with circumstances just falling into place in recent months, saw us agreeing very favourable terms which now sees me in ownership of a very unique car on the roads! Have had it just over a month now and slowly getting used to the power delivery. For those...

First of, there must be a ton of topics about it, but the search function doesn't show them. (not enough characters maybe?) So, what exactly does the IFS do? They tend to fail a lot for a failure sensor. What will happen if the ignition fails and the IFS is bypassed? In other words, can it do harm to always have it bypassed?

i am no expert and as they say a little knowledge can get you in whole heap of sh*t. this is why i would leave it up to the people that have done the time and taken the hit already and are willing to share there experiences. i am not saying everything in this video series is from the mouth of the areo gods themselves but it sound pretty good to me. you might say some of it is obvious, but it is just good no frills info.

Hey guys, My auto box is on itís way out on my 99 Legnum VR4, and instead of sinking any money into fixing or replacing it, Iíd much rather convert it to a manual. My question is for any Chch locals, do you know of any workshops who would undertake this work and source the parts? Iím having trouble getting any mechanics even remotely interested in doing this for me. Everyone I have contacted either isnít interested or doesnít get back to me. With my work schedule, thereís little point in...

here is a video that that shows you lean AFR is only good for bring on detonation. rich AFR just counteracts detonation. Timing is everything, if you increase time to detonation point and then richen the AFR up and little to stop the detonation then do it, and then increase the timing a little more until detonation returns and then back off a couple of degrees of timing for safety. this is a must watch video to dispel a few myths about tuning.
