Hi all, i purchased a 1999 auto vr4 legnum at the start of the year and have loved it just as much as the last one I owned 10 years ago. It had already been upgraded with mamba turbos, walbro pump, tune, bc coilovers and front brembo brakes. Since owning it I have added a fmic, 3" cooler piping, fpr, twin return style fuel rails, xspurt 1000cc injectors and a r35 gtr cop kit. But unfortunately the bottom end let go last week ( big end knock). So as of now I have a spare awd magna that I'm...

I had this on my V6, it was two things: a seed from a tree was wedged between the arm of the drivers side wiper and the cowl making a horrific noise but impossible to see against the black paint and this having been there a while had helped water get at the turret the wiper comes thru the panel on which was fairly rusted but responded well to a clean and packing in grease. see you Saturday!

Spirit of ppl in this club is just unreal, Legnum being 3th car in house is very rarely used and it's a bit left on the maintenance so when Gary Confused prompted me day ago and actually remained me of garage weekend, thanks Gary, I realised that my wipers not working and it will be hit and mis to drive in current weather, so I contacted Andy andyp_fto last night half past 8pm as I remember he is breaking Galant regarding part I need and guess what? He take it off 20.20 pm last night and I...

Well I ended up finding out the bell housing was totally different for both gearboxes right before getting the engine shipped and canceled the transaction. Couldn't find another 6A13 or better factory engine for the car. Got the crank machined but found out this engines bearings apparently only come in standard size, so no factory bearings for my machined crankshaft ( also my rod in which the bearing spun was a little scraped up I've attached pictures ) Now I'm getting the bearings custom...

You are asking some interesting questions there, but I'm not sure any of us have the experience to answer them! My guess would be that the bolt pattern on the gearbox and the mounting points will be key. In some cars the TCU and the ECU are combined - I'm not sure about your car or the donor car, but that might also confuse the issues of installation?

Happy to help where required, I can perform the following dash programming services (Hi-vis VR-4 dash clusters only!); Adjust the scaling of the gearbox signal This changes what speed the dash sees, exactly what a speedo converter does. Odometer and trip values are left the same, but the speedometer and how much the odometer and trip counters increment is then changed to MPH or KPH. Adjust the needle scaling For those who want to fit a 240, 260 or a 280 dash fascia, this just adjusts...

As Garry says - if the converter is on the gearbox you need to go downwards from the throttle body area to find the sensor/plug/loom on the top of the gearbox. The one in the photo you referred to is definitely one that plugs in to the top of the gearbox. If you find it then I'd thoroughly recommend removing it so the car reads in km/h again then see Jay foxdie to reprogramme your speedo.
