Bumping this up from the dead, nobody confirmed whether the Ultra SR's fit and how well they worked? I need to get all new 4 shocks for the Leggy but I'm mostly getting non-VR options. Should I just go with the 351029/351030? On KYB's website it says "Manufacturer's address: Germany", for both types of KYB shocks. So I don't know how relevant the thing about CZ republic is?

Welcome to Club VR4. Buy on condition as rust and poor servicing can kill them. A slightly tappy engine is OK, it'll be the hydraulic tappets. A good flush can help or replace with uprated ones. Regular oil changes are important, so look for evidence that they've been done. For an auto, check the colour of the ATF, it should be a bright pink colour, if it's brown you'll need to factor in a full flush. Check the AYC works, a red AYC light should come on and go off at start-up. If you...

I've got indigo blue one and trigger mauwe one, both fairly good condition rust wise but both have some dents/scratches from constant moving them out of the way, so will be happy to get rid off, make offer if you interested.

Hi all . I知 new here and looking to join the vr4 family . For years I致e had Subaru's but always had a soft spot for a legnum . So now I知 on the look for one , so was wondering if anyone had one for sale at the moment . Also any info on these would be great and what to look out for when purchasing. Cheers ... I 'took a punt' in the absence of any definate height...the shocks are adjustable height but at least the spring seats/rate is factory fixed. I would hate to be juggling TWO VARIABLES...anyway...after cleaning and painting under arches fitted shocks and got her sat at exactly the height I 'like the look of' at front and back... the back end feels a bit 'floaty' so I am thinking rear centre of gravity too high and on comparison to others there is too big a gap so i'm going to lower...

That is also highly likely. My reasoning continuing with the repair is that I want to learn this. Also, if there is something wrong with the hard parts they are very likely already toasted, so most reasonable thing to fix it is getting a new box and overhauling that with new bearings and plates and such. I was just starting to drop the trans when I noticed the 2nd clutch seal was quite broken(likely due to error installing) and did some research. Seems like the pressure for the 2nd clutch is...

I don't know enough about the inner working of an auto box to help diagnose your issue. it sounds like you have done something wrong when started changing things round inside the gearbox. i would advise you to take the gear box to a auto box specialist for them to fix the issue. you might have caused more problems than you started with by fitting parts the wrong way round and driving the car further you might be causing more damage to the auto box.

here is a great video that does exactly what it say in the tin. if you dont know what a sensor does have a look at this video and it should help you understand. here is a caveat, not every engine has all the sensor that are reviewed in the video.

I currently have a vented bonnet on my Legnum. As I have to park on my driveway I kind of fancy replacing it with a standard FL bonnet so that the engine bay isn't forever being rained on. If anyone has one in good condition or knows of someone breaking a Galaxy White FL Legnum/Galant please give me a shout. I'll just leave this active until one pops up.
