Just got the Legnum last week. The car is totally standard 97 VR4 manual. Don't know what mods to start with and where to get them. From Dublin, so parts for VR4's in Ireland are fairly thin on the ground.I wanted to stick mainly with air intake, exhaust etc. and not suspension as the roads here could be a bit better!
Any ideas?

brakes first, then induction. You could also change the exhaust (decat pipe only if your not wanting more)..

You could also add a boost controller if all you want is a little more power..

Exhaust, de-cat, air filter and turn the boost upto 0.9 bar that will give you just over 300bhp

I have found banks and ditches very useful for stopping :joker:

Hi Jackett,

/Wyhy

Welcome to the very select club of Irish VR4 owners.

Like you said parts are very scarce.

I got a Fugitsubo exhaust, from after the cat back, through Hyeline in England, via Japan.

HKS filter straight from Japan.

Denso Iridium plugs, sourced through Southside Motor Factors on Kylemore Rd.

And of course a BDA De-cat pipe.

So far it makes a nice difference.

Hope to see you around, I live in Kildare but in Dublin alot.

definately a full free flowing mandrel bent exhaust

and dont get a airfilter, unless your gonna do it properly with a cold air box and lots of air
