Hey there,

Was wondering if anyone could tell me some reliable places to get my guards rolled in the Auckland area.
Just fitted 225 wide wheels so wanting to get them rolled ASAP so i can sack it out again!
cheers

225s are fine unrolled, i beleive that ShasyNZer has 235s unrolled and no rub.

Ok, I do have adjustables, so she goes pretty low...When i swapped my wheels it looked way too close to the guard.
I will try today and let you know how it goes!

Won't guard rubbing be more a question of wheel offset than width? (with 225 or 235 width tyres anyway)

I haven't tried 225's, but when i drop my rear right down on adjustables, the camber i got was enough that the standard wheels looked strange, you could stick your fingers up between the tyre and the guard easily, and i was able to space it out an extra 8mm with still plenty of room to clear? Are your rims+tyres much larger in rolling diameter?
I'd be keen to see a pic once you get them on, or if you get the guards rolled.

Put it down today,
seems to be OK, the camber does tend to get them under the guard nicely, it just looks like with a bit more weight in the back or heavy connering it will scrape.

kenneth, the stock wheels were 205's so the new wheels i have put on are 17's and they have 225 tyres, so you have an extra 20mm's of offset.

The rolling diameter is slightly larger with the 17's over the stock wheels. Will try and post some pics.

Yep. was looking at evo7 wheels, but thought they wouldnt fit due to 235 tyres, aparently i was wrong according to some of the guys here fitting them.

evo6 wheels have a larger offset so wouldnt be surprised if u get some rubbing

i have evo6 offset wheels aswell but there 18's so they scrub everything
