Is there a slight lip on your discs Shady? This could cause squeeling with new pads. If not try chamfering an edge on all sides of the pads with a file, not too much mind, just enough to give a lead up to the pad

I've got Mintex sprint pads on the front with standard discs and this was also the same setup on my old Evo3. On both cars I had/have a problem every now and again with a grinding noise a little bit like when pads are worn and you have that metal to metal grinding. With my Evo3 I had the brakes checked and pulled apart and cleaned and no intermittant noise for a while and same thing when I've washed the wheels well. Hence I'm figuring it's brake dust build up. Maybee I need slotted rotors as they dislodge dust buildup don't they???

Did you whack plenty of copper slip on when you put the new pads on?

Basically the stuff needs to go everywhere the pad comes into contact with the caliper/piston and carrier - then with a bit of luck all your squealing should disappear
