Nah, 5 speed GDis do exist. I assume it's a 2.4 Viento or similar. It won't have had a 'box swap I don't think.... Too much 'fun' would be involved!! :rolleyes4

Im thinking this might have had a dash swap witha VR4 one...they had 5 speed auto's yeah?

The VR4 dash looks like the attachment below... What do you have on your dash where the VR-4 logo, at the bottom of the speedo, and AYC logo and bars, at the bottom of the rev counter are?

It's definitly a 1.8 GDi ST. Well it doesn't "glow" like that, it does indeed look the same in every other aspect though. (No ayc etc.) but same 12345 etc.

When i was looking round for my vr4 i test drove a 5 speed tiptronic 2.5ltr n/a for comparision. Not a very common option though.
