I screwed up one of my wheel studs when I had problems removing a locking nut off of it.

I have a new one and haven't looked into replacing it yet as I haven't had time.
By the looks of the new stud, the old one will beat out if I simply hit it and the new one will beat back into the old place.
Without looking, does anyone know if I have to remove anything, such as the brake caliper? or any shrouds?

i don't know about the euro models, but the USDMs you need to remove the caliper and the disc and there is a small space where you can bang out the old stud and replace it, you're probably going to need to get some washers and put the lugnut on it and tighten it until the new stud is fully inserted into the space, that's it...

It'll be tight - a pin punch & a little heat may help if it refuses to budge.

Depends really how much thread is left on the old stud - if you don't hit it square or it bends then go very careful or you may damage the splines on the hub. if it's flush with the hub then it's much easier.
