As discussed in the thread what do to next. Go Karting seemed to be a bit of a hit.
Can someone please post some reviews of tracks in Auckland ?
We will not book the event until we have at least the minimum number of entrants paid. i.e. no payment no booking will occur.
Also I have included a poll to check interest in this event.
We are going for Mid-Late October 2005

yup,
as you come off the motorway you'll come to a big roundabout - go right then take the first right - if i recall the road is pretty shet, big holes and gravel. The track is o.k but nothing tooooo exciting. unless i grow wings i don't think i'll get me leggy along that road! Just gonna have to bring the mazda (oh shame!)

Hey KiwiTT
I think the place in Onehunga is called Trax (or at least it used to be). Not sure if it's still there though.
Try these though dude:

There one in East Tamaki is good - has split level racing with a cool ramp section.
Only problem there is if you're heavy (like me), the cars struggle a bit.

Thanks for that.
I know I could have searched the yp for them, but I wanted to get addresses for "good" places.

ok blast a cars @ 53 victoria st onehunga its a oval track but it's ment for drift so u dont really need a hard track prices $12 - 10min $20 - 20 min $30 - 25 min or you can hire the track and 6 cars for $250 p/h so if theres at least 6 ppl intersted it's only going to cost around $41. So if the 15 that have polled yes are still keen we could mabey hire it for a couple of hours... if theres anything else you wanna no ask and when i go past again i'll ask them or ph 636 8081.... p.s. sorry it took so long i've been past a few times but they wernt open...

That one was bad. They have governors in them that slow you down and the managers will not remove them once you have had them applied. I was governed and I do not think I did anything wrong. It was the others who didn't know how to take corners.
