Any difference in the late model VR4's?

I'm in the market for a 97-99 VR4 and was wondering if there is any difference in them either perfomance or style wise?

I know some have woodgrain dash while some others have carbon fibre imitation but is there anything else?

There is facelift model starting from 09/98 and there are various differant models, type s, type v, and differant dashes too. All the basics (twin turbo, 4wd, etc) are the same.
