I wonder how much they cost and how easy it is to steal them of the car

wouldnt you have to hit some speed to make them effective by which time you are so intent on making them look good they attract the fuzz...

lights they start flashing when speed is above 10kms

yeah, they do look strange when car stops

they say that thing has some preventive measures against stealing but the good idea is take them off when you leave for a long time :)

They certainly contravene UK lighting regs. Not sure about NZ regs though.

I'll leave the 'taste' question alone, but they're not on my buy-list, I'm afraid.

I notice they say that their enquiries 'suggest' they are not illegal.

Would you buy some with 'Club VR4' on then???? :inquisiti

NZ sounds so much nicer than the UK! The toe rags here will have anything that shines - and they'd probably nab when you slowed for the lights!!!

I'm not kidding!

I had some cheap tyre valve caps on my Legnum, and they got stolen here in New Zealand, so we're not so different. It's not a nice feeling that some scum have been prowling round your car!
The wheel lights are the same technology as a little spaceship toy on a chain I bought for my daughter. You twirl it round and it writes messages with the LEDs. I think wheel light company graphics exaggerate the brightness of the effect. You would have to remove them when you parked the car, though, as otherwise they'd disappear.

you sure they got stolen? i use to think my valve caps were getting stolen but when the wheels were spinning they would just fly off :P
