Evo X, there is already an Evo 9 wagon so i guess there maybe an Evo X wagon? The Lancer has gotten bigger over the years so i don't there will be another Galant.

If they brought out a slightly more civilised Lancer EVO and called it a Lancer VR-4, I may consider it.

BTW: Has anyone made this link of the words. The "Shogun" with "Charisma" instructed his "Galant" samurai to take his "Lancer" to the attack the "Mirage".

I get my coat ... it's just me playing my medieval wargames.

Hey dudes, brand new member here :smug:

The NZ Herald has a weekly motoring section in it, and a month or so back it talked about a new car called the 'Mitsubishi 250' (or something lame like that) saying it was to replace both the Galant and the Diamante next year.

So... not a particularly 'solid' statement as my first post I'm afraid... but if it's right... well, stinko.

jaimz, I thought it will be the 380, because it has a 3.8 litre engine. It isn't going to be particularly quick though.

I heard a rumour that the new Evo would be based on the new Colt model. Makes sense to me as that would be a much better base for a WRC car.

Still, if this is true, we may all own the last VR-4s that there ever will be!!

There's been heaps of talk over the years about how the coming Evolution models will follow the trends of the WRC - which as I'm sure you all know are about as changable as Optimus Prime.
A couple of years ago the hot topic was changing all WRC cars (and hence the new Evolution model) to a V6 non-turbo!
*BLASPHEMY!!*

They seem to have gotten over that now though, although the WRC cars are being downgraded for next year to save costs. Passive diffs and gearboxes, and engines that have to last longer etc...
