FSE power valve (fuel damper)

Ive just got back from Demon Tweeks having tried to buy a fse power valve for my 2001 v6 sport ( a mates fitted one to his focus with good results) however they don't list one for it.
they do list the following
VR4 V6
GTO V6
FTO V6
Anyone know which will fit, if any?

Are they any good?

where is it situated on the car?

ive looked in to them in the past and heard to many horror story's, so i never bothered with buying/fitting one.
worst and most common problem was "over fueling" "burning valve's" and "wrecking spark plug's"
