I know this is totaly off topic for a galant forum - but i dont know a friendlier more helpful bunch of car enthusiasts to ask!!!

basically my sister-in-law has just been on the phone panicking - her pug 206 (1.4GLX) keeps stalling when she takes her foot off the accelerator :rolleyes4, i can only think of the idle control valve needing cleaned (if it has one) or the idle settings adjusted (if they can be adjusted)

can anyone else offer any other suggestions??? I'll no doubt be having to look at the car when i get home.

thanks in advance

yes & no - my sister in law drove her 206 home - no occurance of the issue, i looked at it - could nt find anything wrong - earth cables clean and intact, could not find an idle control valve tho.....

no re occurrance of the issue, it could either be a one off (hopefully) or the ECU starting to deteriorate (hope not).......

thanks for your help
