Ok......... I have one wheel sensor fitted to one of the new hubs. the other is minus the very thin metal sleeve it sat in. :embarasse
the sensors appears to be intact, & fits tight in the carrier without any movement. /yes
does anyone know just what the sleeve actually does ?? protection ?? from what ? vibration, heat, movement ?? /Hmmm
I'm just wondering if it will still work ok, as it is ? /Hmmm

my bosses old caviler did this before i started there , the vauxhall garage wanted an arm and a leg to sort it , so being tighter than a dolphins butt he left it , when i started he mentionrd it one day ,so i had a look and put 2 new brake light bulbs in and hey presto the abs worked again , it seems that its all conected and if your brake light bulbs blow then you must die by crashing into the back of a lorry next time it rains (well acording to vauxhall) :inquisiti

i wasn't implying that mitsu use the same set up as a http://www.dazza.nildram.co.uk/Graemlins/vomit.gif vauxhall , it was just one of those slightly off topic storys
