Hi,

I am looking to get a replacement air filter for my '97 Legnum VR-4, and need to find the engine number, as apparently this was a changeover year??? The earlier engine is apparently the 6G73, but mine says 6A13....is this the newer engine number?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Sounds like your dealer has no idea what they are talking about.......find another!!!

You have the 6A13TT engine in your car!

That would be the G7 v6 engine.... the previous model galant.
