My GLS is starting to sound like a diesel when it's cold.... I think it's a single cylinder misfire when cold, but I don't know what the cause it. When Kieran and I were working on the ATF I mentioned it and he noticed one of the ignition coil leads wasn't in properly, but that's been sorted now and so it's not that....

What are the likely culprits? Poor battery connection on +ve terminal (I've just recently replaced the -ve and made big improvements there, so it's not that)? HT Leads? Spark Plugs? Coil packs?

Could be the plugs - I think your GLS would be due for them fairly soonish, as I remember. The dealer changed the ones on my old GLS at 90,000 i think? Could be a loose electrical connection on the Low tension side of the coil packs? /Hmmm

Could be one of those " /Grrr " type of problems to trace.....

I think the plugs were last changed about 20000 miles ago. It wasn't like this last time they were changed though.
