hi there,as you can see i have attached a piccy of my car below INSERT INTO post VALUES ( well this isnt actualy my car, its the same as but without the front bumper and bonet scoop mine has the evo 4 scoop) , the problem is i thought it was a standard mitsubishi galant 2.0 glsi, but after reading through this site i am confused, what is a VR4?? what is a Legnum?? what is my car??

All i can tell you about it is, its fast as fcuk, its nice to drive and after purchasing new bearings for it for £47 and discovering that they didnt fit, i had to go direct to mitsubishi and i gave them my chasis number and they told me it was a limited edition model and its the same spec as the 1996 rally model

Hello and welcome to the site.

I'm not up on all the versions Mitsubishi has released but if it has a turbo/s it could possibly be one of these: http://www.clubvr4.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=394

If it hasn't got a turbo then it may have been tweaked somehow if it's a limited edition.

Normal 2.0GLSi's aren't very quick at least not below 10 seconds to 60 I'd have thought.

is it a uk car or import? if it is a uk car then they only did 4 types of engines

1.8 4cyl 125bhp
2.0 4cyl 130bhp
2.0 v6-24 147bhp
2.5 v6-24 167bhp with 4wd and 4ws

Go back and ask your dealer what the spec is - they obviously know or they wouldnt say it was 'limited' !

It is a 7G Galant.

It will only have a 2.0 V6 TT at best, good for 240hp tho.
