Amusing one this. ( well I'm not laughing). Got a blue e-manage unit and apexi avc-r from paulmc and wanted to get it fitted, so rang a tuner who was highly recommended. Apparently he runs a racing team, has the proper rolling road the whole deal. Anyway, had booked it in for next week for the e-manage but forgot to mention the avc-r. So rang today to tell him about the avc-r:
"I'm dropping in the VR4 next week for the e-manage, anyway......."
TUNER- "the e what?"
ME- "the e-manage, I booked it in already with you"
TUNER- (sharp intake of breath) "ooh they are very complicated."
ME- "well you're the expert, thats why we pay you the big bucks."
TUNER- "hmm, yeah......hmm"
ME- "as I was saying, I have an avc-r I'm looking to get fitted aswell"
TUNER- "the avc-r isn't a problem but the e-manage...... would you not think about going for...."
Now this is good: maybe a MOTEC unit, maybe a HKS F-con pro, maybe a UNICHIP???
TUNER "would you not think about going for an EVO LANCER"
MAYBE I SHOULD USE SOMEBODY ELSE :rolleyes4
