Ive noticed recently that the lecyy windows, sunroof etc still work on my car for a while after the key has been removed...

Very odd, as it never done it before...

Also, the clock is going too fast!

The windows and soonroof still being powered is normal, as Mo says. It's part of the Mitsubishi ETACS (electronic anti-theft control system). It does things like that so you don't have to fumble about putting your key back in if you spot an ajar window. You have 30 seconds of power before they are cut.

is it 30 seconds? i thought it was just till you close the door after you?. I never noticed it was timed. Gotcha.

Haul the clock out, lift it stright up, firmly butdont yank it!
Take it apart, check for any corrosion on the connectors and carefully re-solder the power connectors (4 i think) where they enter the PCB.
Sorted!

Cheers Guys

I'll have a look at the connectors at the weekend...

Im tempted to put a new boost controller in the clock space... temptation
