Wanted - Legnum. Must be in great mechanical condition and well maintained (full service history). Would prefer leather interior and/or manual but any good car considered. Am waiting to sell my car in next few days - sale agreed - so just want to hear of/see what may still be available from club members before I resort to AutoTrader next week. Thanks for any tips - its a new car to me so am busy reading the threads!

Good luck! Which area are you looking at? 2000+ models for 5 figures or 1996-7 models for £5k?

Older cars are more plentiful, so you get a better choice.

Definitely look through the clubs for sale section, and go back a few pages, as the threads disappear quite quickly and often before the car is sold!

Mine's (saloon Tiptronic 99 V) still up for sale also, 69,000 miles now at £7,750 but will negotiate for club member.

Will do. Wondered where the threads were! Why don't you maintain an updated 'for sale' thread with links to the individual members threads advertising uk cars for sale? Have a look at the s2ki.com/uk club website for an idea what I mean. Would make it easier to find whats still available.
Anyways, that aside, .... I am after a well maintained estate with the leather interior and maybe manual, not a saloon, soz. Having a small but enthusiastic membership sure makes owning a car like this more enjoyable - some good info here too.

What's required to get the car from dockside to on the road exactly? Do I need an SVA report specific to the car to take to the nearest SVA centre? Advice welcome.

hi

its sva is single veachle approvel and costs around £500-£600 takes about three weeks, after the sva test you need to register the car and that cost around £150 including six months tax
