I think you will stuggle to get a decent condition '98+ version with reasonable mileage for that price. But you never know :D

I would expect £10k+ with FSH INSERT INTO post VALUES (which is imperative) and a warranty is a more likely figure.

As I posted earlier Andrew, there is one in Dorset for sale which needs a lot of tlc, but has the makings of one. question is , do you spend a lot of money on one already " converted/ tuned " or do you buy one bog standard for the right money, & do with it what you want ?? I would do the latter.

Sorry. I only joined the club yesterday, and I can already see that you are desperate to sell your car! I have a pet greyhound, not allowed on the seats, so need the 'van with windows'. Such an unfair description of the galant estate! I currently have a V6-24, but would like to upgrade to the VR-4. Colour is important, as black can look fantastic as a saloon, but looks a bit hearse-like as an estate.

Shame. £14000 sounded reasonable, but £18000 is too much. :INSERT INTO post VALUES (

Saw one on autotrader website at the weekend, 2002 INSERT INTO post VALUES (02) UK supplied in silver. 7k and still with remainder of warranty INSERT INTO post VALUES (about 18 months). £15995. :D I couldn't believe my luck!

I phoned to discover someone had just put a deposit on it. :Cry1:

Still waiting for that best buy to come along.

never mind one will come along.
Depreciation always scares me as I bought mine brand new in 2002 and paid £29,000 if you can get one with 7k for 16,000
ouch!!!!

I don't think I will see a bargain quite as good as that again. Most seem to be asking that for a three year old. Not in a huge hurry to get one, though, and maybe they will start getting more affordable now that they are no longer being made.

Gazhus - I am not sure why you have ressurected a thread that is over four years old?
