I saw your car in last weeks autotrader as well, at an auto salon. I'll look out for it, and buy it if I see it.

I got mine from BP yesterday, great article, what turbos are you going for?

-LegnumVR4-

I wrote the article, they 'tweak' bits of the wording. At the moment i'll be looking at getting the max out of the stock turbos before if any upgrade happens. I was just keeping the masses happy with saying i was going for bigger turbos. :smug:

Im not sure if the Legnum will be coming north for the final battle, car isn't at the level i want it yet and there is a lack of money to get it up there. I need more time to get things sorted and extract more power from the car (Autosalon Dyno). Things take time /yes

Haha, now everyone will expect bigger turbos. I've showed your article to quite a few of my friends and everyone absolutely loves it, I wish they'd shown a few more engine bay pics though.

Have you put you car on a dyno recently anyway? what did you make at the wheels?

Yeah i was amazed that they didn't show more of the engine bay, there was plenty of photos taken of it :(

I've never had it on the Dyno, been waiting to get it tuned with E-Manage. I have a couple of sensors acting up so i'm waiting to get them sorted as the car doesn't have max power at the moment due to this.

Anyone wants to chat on MSN i'm here: rhysgarven@hotmail.com

I forgot to say, my PCTV interview is coming up sometime soon (i had a video shoot about 5 days after the Autosalon show). Todd will be in touch with me to let me know when it will be screening. I was ment to have my new 19" wheels on for the shoot but some how the freight company lost one of the wheels. :inquisiti

19's? what size tyres are you getting?

edit - that probably sounds quite dumb, I mean their width and profile

215/35/19. Was hard finding an alloy that would clear the brembos and still fit inside the guards.

215? hmm not very wide, my EVO 7 mags take 235 tyres, I guess you couldn't get any wider under the guards

Theres the issue of hitting the hub carriers arm that goes up to the upper 'A' arms. The hub carriers arm does curve quite a bit at the top to allow for a bigger wheel but it starts to get quite tight in there. I have about 10mm to spare before the wheel would hit. Then u can't go out to wide or u'll hit the outer guards :rolleyes4

I got the magazine yesterday. Like you I liked the S/RS series Audi as well.

Still the VR-4 is very good alternative if not a peer.

Will sort something out later, mate took the photos. Will ask him to pass a photo onto me. Yup they are 19x8's. Clear the Brembos and no guard rub. :smug:

U can click on the image and inlarge it if u want.

Rhys you burgler, I want those rear skirts back! lol. Got the rest of the skirt kit from Warwick, (they match the flares I got from that car) he said you took off with them. I have the whole flare kit now minus those parts.
Wanted: Face lift rear side skirts, anyone?
