Why is my life never sodding simple? I think I'm going to drive the VR4 off a cliff. Unfortunately, it's in bits, so I can't at the moment :|

In order to get the thing on the road ASAP, I rang mitsi up to find out if they had a N/S driveshaft in stock - the said yes, so I bought it. Took it through to VMTP where the car still languishes today. Got back home - message on the answerphone... it's the wrong side shaft! ARGGGGGHHHHHHHH.

According to my invoice, the supplied bit is MR246173, driveshaft seal MN130498.

Edit: Chassis no is: EC5W 0007340

Can anyone who has the parts CD check what the nearside (drivers) shaft and seal should be?

Thanks.

I'll be trying to saw through my wrist with a rusty knife.

Stupid pillocks. Phoned them this morning to find out if the part number on the box matched the part no on the invoice, and they said 'er-sorry, our mistake... it is the right shaft'

Thanks for a fretful night :|:|
