i contemplated putting a laptop into my old old car b4 i realised it was a dumb fuk thing to do, gives more reason for people to break into the cars, the cooling of the laptop was a bitch to deal with and the mounting of it.

and the fact that i didnt spend enough time in there to justify it.

i say leave it for the bmw's and the benz's

i friend of mine is working on the same thing at the moment he is a sofware designer / hardware bod type thing
in the usa they have drivesoft as used on pimp my ride

I've been considering doing something like this and I think it would look very "factory" in the Galant

m8 of mine has a 15" tft on his dash! in a landcruiser :)

spoke to him at length about this cos i nearly did the same to my disco but still might consider a smaller version for the galant

I have one on my galant. Thanks to xbox and xbox linux. I've got my car connected to the net anytime anywhere via wireless internet and using xbox linux. On top of that I could play my all time favorite game. Street Fighter III: Third Strike. Its a very easy setup, if you need help drop me a message and I'm more than glad to help you with the project.
