Nationality Flags?

BraindG
01-09-2003, 07:36 PM
yeay!.. go to your profile and edit... should find a HUGE list of flags :D

still need to implement it for when people register.

BraindG

ok, its fully implemented...

now when people register they have to fill in a country - this is now mandatory!..

i was thinking of how i could over come the problem where we didnt know if users were from NZ or here, or anywhere for that matter..

taken me a month or two.. but its done..

i can make the images anything i want..
plain text, nude wimmin its there to police locations of people signing up.. i was going to implememnt a script that took your ip address, and from that took your country and forced it into profile.

but this seems a nicer way..

there will be a point when we have to know the difference between UK and NZ members...

I know the issue with paying site members must be controlled, I was just being awkward. :)

Nude wimmin will be more than welcome though, fail to see how that will relate to where a person is from... but what the hell!!! :D

BraindG

nothing to do with the paid thing.

its mainly for organising events etc in NZ... making life easy for Pescha..

paid members will get the pic below..
http://www.clubvr4.co.uk/misc/member.jpg

im gonna cut down the images and selections aswell
basically UK, NZ, US, Europe countries, Japan... basically the ones that count.. the others will become "other" or something wild i think up...

i was going to implememnt a script that took your ip address, and from that took your country and forced it into profile.

But surely if you don't can't people simply just re-register and fill in different details?
And if you were to do something with their IP address's surely wouldn't that only work on those with static IP's?
