had the problem of their plastic cover splitting around the base of their automatic transmission gear knob. The plastic bit that covers up the bit which stops you looking down into the transmission. Because mine split in the weekend and it's pi$$ing me off (I don't want to drop anything down into, for example a small coin). Has anyone one got any ideas of how to fix it? Other than getting one from the wreakers or Mitsubishi? Hubby said he will look at it, but I just thought if there was any alternative ideas out there, that it would be awesome, so thanks in advance!

the one on my black one broke after I had the car for about 6 months, and it was never there on my vr-4 at all. I've been on the look out for one, the guys that bought my black car worked for a spare parts place, they might be able to hook me up with a couple fairly cheaply.

u can always fit a gear boot. dat looks quite snazzy
