No SVA next year

After 10years imports just need an MOT. I am sure most of you knew that anyway. This makes importing a pretty cheap option, got me thinking again /Hmmm

Will the '10 year' rule apply to cars made after 1997? Reading the DVLA's site, it states that cars 'manufactured after 1/1/1997 are subject to ESVA'. To me that reads as, 'No matter how old the car, if it was made post-1997 it must have an ESVA whatever'. :inquisiti
