Hi Chaps

Go on then! Some one impress me with which wheels I should get to replace the standard ones I have on my Galant V6 Estate (R-Reg).

P.s. Thanks for the help as this one is new to me.

I've just picked up some Enkei 17's (standard on an Evo 8) which were re-furbed 3 months ago for an absolute steal...£100 for all 4!! :)
I then splashed out on a set of P-Zero Rossa which still came in at a reasonable £440 fitted (235/45/17's)

A good place to look is on the Lancer forum - http://www.lancerregister.com/ in the parts for sale section, or ebay, for example:

The V6 is 4 stud. I think the Evo 1-3 were also. The later evos and the VR4 are five stud.

Have a look through the members cars section - it'll give you some good ideas!

I really like multi spoked wheels but they are such a bastard to keep clean :(.

Spend as long on the wheels as on the rest of the car /grr

I like 5 spoke designs, those are very nice, my moto: 'less is more' and dead easy to keep clean by the way... unlike mine ( a real pain in the a... to keep clean).

Standard ones anybloody? ;)

This makes your latest e-bay purchase rather interesting!! Although you can't complain about the price for those, either!

I rather like Derek's.... (other than the dodgy paintwork on them, but the style and shape).

5 or 7 spoke are the way, or paired spoke wheels.

Most beautiful alloys ever were the BMW E39 M5's satin dark chrome 20 spoke beasties...

Not sure they'd suit the galant though...

i bought these of eBay a couple of months ago..£101 + £40 postage.
they even came with the pirelli P7000 tyres. the tyres usually cost around £98 each! i checked out a good site called ROCHFORD.CO.UK ( or something like that ). mine are MILLE MILGLIA HT3's. a new set cost £795 inc tyres. i saw a loverly set of compomotive alloys for evo 1,2,3. 16" no tyres though they could actually be used for group 'n' rallying! went for about £230 + £30 postage. not bad! they looked amazing!
