O/T Rover Vitesse V8 Twin Plenum

1986 car, totally original, 78K genuine miles. Been in my family for over 10 years, dry stored most of the time.

Recently recommissioned by local Rover V8 expert.

Very rare car and very hard to find in this condition.

Comes with loads of spares including Vitesse alloys and all sorts.

Price £4000 - not negotiable, or will P/X for Evo 6.

The twin plenum is like hens teeth - Rover originally built the minimum number required (200 maybe??) so they could compete in the touring cars series against BMW etc. I think? Beautiful /yes

What a machine, that looks superb mate - am just wishing i had another parking space now (oh and bigger bank balance)....

I remember giving my father no end of grief wanting him to get one of those back in 1986 - he ended up going for a rather dull Montego though which turned out to be a complete lemon. Oh well.

It does have some minor tidying needed on the bodywork, nothing serious.

There were supposed to be only 200 of these made, but as BL was in such a state at the time no one knows for sure. Someone who worked on these cars at BL during the eighties told me it was actually 183, but others have told me more than 500.

Anyway this one is completely unmolested and near original except for a replacement battery and stainless exhaust from the Y piece back, this is a Rimmer Brothers item made to the correct Vitesse spec.
