Excellent pictures. :)

But what is that red thing in the lower grill?
Is it one of those pre made air feeds? if so how did you manage to get it up to the filter pass the battery etc???

Its top secret....but i guess i know u all well enough:D Its a cold air feed....i tried ages with other ideas...moving the battery etc spent at least 3 hours...cut my hand and got feed up with try to get pipework into the filter...so..... walked around the side wing of the car a looked at the back of the headlights!. there is day light there!!!! just enough to squeeze a 100mm pipercross 1 metre pipe through.:) Stood an electric fan in front to check that air is fed up ....and it does. Im leaving the cold air feed there and not spending lots of money on all the other possibilites...seems to work fine for a £20 piece of pipe:thumb:

it took 15 minutes to do...well worth it. There is space not to deform the pipework....honest!:)

Anyone there to talk to....or have you all gone outside in the cold, wet night to look for daylight around the headlight unit!:D ;)

Okay.. I am being dense but, behind the lights? can you be more specific? 'cos I've looked many a time and found nothing there apart from brief daylight you can see around underneith the battery cradle.

Any more pics? can't believe I missed it.

i can get some detailed pictures for you tomorrow and post them under the upgrade/performance part of the web site.

I basically stood by the wing and looked at the back of the passenger headlight unit. i disconnected the main beam wire to give more room then could see down to the radiator and behind the front grille. i then fed the pipe down. i then lead on the floor and could put my hand up behind the grille to pull the pipe down. a hole was made in the grille mesh to secure the cold air feed end. The other has a cable tie. like i say, ive spent hour slooking for space/gaps to do this....and only until i got totally fed up did i finally see the light!!! :D To help i'll get some pictures posted.

Or i can do a "fitting" service at Santa Pod! Small fee of course:D :cool1:

Pics would be great, post them on the thread I created if you like as it has recieved a lot of attention and would be good to see the progression of the air feed.

Santa Pod is too far away, I'm way too impationt and this bastid ain't gonna beat me! :D
