as the eastern posse is ever expanding , what do people think to a mini meet , this would cover the lincolnshire ( only me i think :embarasse ) Norfolk , Suffolk and cambridgeshire , obviously others would be allowed to join in , if you have any suggestions to venue and date then lets here them

Saturday 22nd is good for me, i'll keep it free.

In the Afternoon I presume? 2pm??

The Vee

That may knock me out then, as I would be doing Snetterton that w/e if I was not working nights. Having said that, if it's only going to be an afternoon meet, may be able to get there. Don't forget though, it's starting to get dark a lot earlier now so you may want to start a little earlier

The Vee

Seems 22nd is going to be popular. Keep it that way, I can always catch up with you after my shut eye time. Anyway, the Southern "interloper" would be a more than welcome addition, It makes sense while they're up here. Many of my "local" meets have been in Devon and Dorset !!
So keep it that way, may even be able to wangle some time off.

seeing as andy beat me to it , then who is coming ? are we still on for duxford and then a pub or something ? and what start time , not forgetting there is some foreign bleeders gate crashing , so probably a 11 o'clock start would be best

The Vee

11 am at Duxford sounds fine to me, but then it would really coz I'll be late anyway!! Coz I'm working nights, I'll catch up with you during the meet. Anyone know the entrance fee to Duxford? and anyone more local, can they suggest a decent venue for lunch.

AncientOfMu Don't know the place myself, but if we go in the main entance, must be a car park to meet in?

AncientOfMu
13-10-2005, 11:06 PM
One main entrance yes but the car park is quite big so... dunno if we wanna meet up somewhere before hand?? there is a Maccy D's just up the road at whittlesford. /Hmmm and I would hazard a guess that not everyone will arrive at exactly 11am....

I don't really know, still new at these meet things :embarasse

Any suggestions for a good place for food down that way? I'm sure nobody minds if there's convoy involved!
