Ralliart VR4s

Just wondering when was the last year that VR4s were produced? And if i were to get Mitsubishi to import one, would I need to go to a Ralliart specialist, or would any dealership be able to do it?

No mitsubishi dealer will import you a VR4. Many won't even service imports!

You'll have to buy one that's already here, or go through a specialist importer, or DIY! Do a search on 'import'. A couple of us have done it here.

Ah ok then mate, i was under the impression that Ralliart imported a few of the ones lurking on this site!! I may just have to buy one thats already over here, cheers for the quick reply

There were a few "official" Ralliart imports (c100?). I have one, think the last was early 2003. Plenty more folk around here know a lot more about this than me.

Yes they did for a couple of years, but no more. Cars were coverted to UK spec in Japan and then sold by Ralliart (now Xtreme). They're officail uk-spec cars with type approval, but it wasn't a case of 'I want a VR4 - ok we'll get you one from Japland'. They converted a certain number of cars, shipped them over, and sold them.
