AS we all know, VR-4s love the stuff. I have done 2 fills so far in mine so far and another due in 2 days.

At below a quarter, I filled to the top and got 35 litres in.
At below a half, I filled to the top and got 30 litres in.

This raises the question, if the tank holds 60 litres INSERT INTO post VALUES (13.2 UK Gal) INSERT INTO post VALUES (according to Car Folio (http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car/?car=27104))how accurate is the fuel guage.

An important consideration with a car that loves it. Also, is there a fuel low warning light on the dash and where would it appear, so I will not get stranded.

If there is such a warning light, how much fuel am I expecting to fill it. I estimate 50 litres.

The gauge goes slow to 3/4, fast to 1/4, when I then get nervous and fill it again.

I run mine right below E but start feeling nervous when the the light doesn't go out at all. Apart from that I think the guage seems to be quite accurate. :Ponder:

Most ive put in is 59 litres but mine being a 2wd puss bucket it has a 64 litre tank but my brother Vr4's fuel guage is the same, regularly gettin 500ks from about 55litres.:) I'm lucky, just been to Ruapehu and got 810 out of 58litres and theres lots of steep hills up that way!!!

At 500 kms/55 Litres I can reach Taupo with the hammer down, refill, then onto to Wellington.

Isn't great we only pay NZ$1.20 INSERT INTO post VALUES (42p) a litre here. A very small price to pay, in comparison to our UK collegues.

There is a fuel warning light and it shows at the bottom of the fuel gauge. If it comes on you will know & when it does there should be about 6 - 8 litresINSERT INTO post VALUES (if not more) left in the tank. I regularly see my fuel warning light and drive for miles INSERT INTO post VALUES (20-25) before refuelling and the most fuel I have ever purchased was 56 litres, and that's full to the tank cover !
I pay 26 - 30p per litre. Sorry for you UK guys.

Thanks for that Guys, 56-59 litres from warning light to fill, and 20-25 miles to find a Petrol Station.

I am really going to enjoy this car.
