I need to replace my brake disks/pads as the disks are warped. Could anybody confirm for me that the brakes are 275mm Diameter, 24mm Depth and 22.4mm Width on a 1998 V6-24?

is it a pre or post facelift?
on my 98 pre facelift, they were 254ish?? with single pot brakes.
but i upgraded to evo (1-3) twin pots and 276mm disks

i have 4 stud wheels. might be different if you have a 5 stud.

I don't think it's that easy. There are at least two different sizes of brakes on V6's of that age. Your best bet is to phone your local mitsy dealer with your Chassis No. and ask.

Cool - my old man is popping into the Mitsi dealer tomorrow anyway. The only reason I was asking is that if they're that size, I can get a set of Black Diamond grooved disks and predator pads for a VERY good price ;)

Just out of interest, how can I tell if its Pre or Post facelift? It looks like its really peeved with everybody all the time if that helps? :p

Yours will be pre-facelift, but the UK rules on facelifting are different to the Japanese ones. The main UK facelift saw the indicator lenses at the front of the car become clear. I guess yours are orange.

I was looking at replacing pads and disks on my 7G recently .
My front disks were measured at 276 mm and as my car does not appear on any parts lists they had to use the measurements to try and find a match .
The EBC site has some good info and diagrams even if you don't want their products.

Only thing thats still confusing me though - those ones with the measurments I gave were for a galant with 15's, the 14s were obviously smaller (and for the pre-facelift galants), but the brakes on mine completely fill the 15's - the calipers are almost touching the wheels. No way they'd get under 14's...
