VR-4 Std 16in upgraded to 17in upsets computer

The Mitsubishi Dealer said that upgrading the 16in to 17in alloys can upset the computer.

I have 17in 225/45 on mine when I bought it. I saw another with 17in 215/45 and thought it looked odd. However on consideration this may actually have the same diameter as the original 16in version.

Any thoughts on this ?

225/45 is the best tyre option for 17" wheels as it has the nearest equivalent rolling circumferance to the standard set up. I have 215/45's on mine and they are 99.03% compared to the originals - were the size fitted when I got the car.

If I get some new 17" alloys soon I will put 225/45's on. Don't worry mate you have the right size.
