Anyone out there know/has a heavy duty clutch capable of say 300-350HP at the wheels?
I'm getting my 6 puck out that's been causing me grief (major grinding noises) and need something decent. Make/Type/Part numbers?
Also is there anything that should be done while putting in the new clutch? ....I'm sure the b@st@rds f#cked up somewhere!! /pan

Hope you guys can share some light in my direction.....pleeeeeease???

My car started grinding at Puke, it turned out that the flywheel had come loose, when we put it back we made sure to torque them up and put thread lock on them.

sorry, we made sure the flywheel bolts were tightened up to the correct torque setting and used Loctite thread lock to keep it tight.

actually Richard, now that you mention it, I'm probably the only person that has heard your flywheel and Uc's car when they have been making the grinding noise, and the noise is in fact very very similar.

Uc, it is worth a shot - get them to check your flywheel

Thanks....I think I'll get them to look into this when they change the clutch.
Richard...Did the noise only happen when taking off from a stand-still?
