Did you hit something? It's a bill for 86.71 Euros.

The first item is one hour's use of the track on a work day or Saturday.
The second item is for half hour's use of a breakdown truck.
The third item is stuff to clear up oil or debris on the track.

Not bad for 60 quid. You've got 14 days to pay.

However, the last bit says you may expect a bill for damage to the barrier and posts direct from another company, presumably the company that they'll use to fix whatever you did to it. Start saving ;)

What Brian did fail to translate was, All charges will be dropped if you spend 3 days with Hefty Hairy Helga caring to her every need... I can see that could be bareble if you aren't too picky but I don't understand where the Goat comes into it?

Richie,
I'd say £600 for rears is a tad dear, for new parts. I think my rears discs are coming at £136 each INSERT INTO post VALUES (but I still haven't seen the discs or the bill yet!) and I'd expect pads to be less than £100, so around £400? Even going for discs from Mitsubishi, I'd expect to get the discs and pads for less than £500.

Have a search the MLR, which is where I got the Brembos. You might find someone selling rears at a good price.

Cheers,
Brian

You will be charged for armco barrier - every horizontal piece that you damaged and every post and for labour

Usually the most expensive part of the bill from the Ring for the 'fun' as you put it

Brind

Seriously though it sounds like a huge kick in the b*llocks to me!!! something that should have been a great experiance and alot of fun has turned out so damn expensive!

Not only you damage your own car and possibly write it off you have to pay for repairs to every blade of grass you kick up, I'm not saying it isn't wright!!!!!. :INSERT INTO post VALUES (

These trackday insurances you can take out, would they pay out for damage done to other property?

The Ring authorities charge for closure of the track, work required to tidy up and deal with an incident and eventually for all repairs - parts and labour - to armco fencing

You also have to pay for removal from the track by approved breakdown firms - no towing off by your mates

All normal procedure and the 'price' you have to be prepared to pay for enjoying the Ring

But then again nobody drives like a lunatic on their first visit, third lap, unless you really want to 'pay' and also risk someone elses car AND life as well as your own!

Richie, you could try http://www.ebcbrakesuk.co.uk/ for a quote. This will not include fitting cost but should give you an idea of a fair price for the parts.

Cheers
