I have been a happy chappie until recently now I have to let her go (not the wife) but the VR4.

The wife is about to pass her test and want to get a "sensible" car, so have had to put her up for sale (I sometimes think which one should go).

I have only had the car for 11 months :sad3: and have loved every minute of it.

Please could someone let me know the best way to find a good new home??

I have put some details below-:

1996 P Reg Black MITSUBISHI Galant 2.5 VR-4 Type-S (Saloon Import) + All usual stuff

Thatcham Cat 1 Alarm & Immobilizer (TOAD)
1 UK owner
Tiptronic
Low Mileage (approx 40,000 miles) Dealer can verify mileage
4 brand new tyres
New front brake discs
Pioneer CD Player
Plus lots more

Taxed & Tested £5,995 OVNO

I will try and get some photos posted ASAP

Cheers

Yeah I would like to persude her otherwise, and also she would probably end up in a hedgerow.

As a woman who drives a VR4 everyday WAIT !!!

Your wife may enjoy the driving as much as you, /Steeringw

I use the VR4 as my everday car and wouldn,t swap it .

Is it you that doesn't trust her to be out and about in such a great car ?

Missbitchy makes a valid point Johnny.

When I bought mine my wife looked at it and said she couldn't possibly drive such a big car. (She is the typical very slow and nervous female type of driver).

After her first trip out to do some shopping at the supermarket (whilst I bit all my fingernails off waiting for a call from the Police to say my car had been found in a ditch), she returned to say that it was the easiest car she had ever driven. She now loves it ........ and even has the radio/CD player on whilst driving - something she NEVER used to do "because I can't concentrate with music playing!!!" :embarasse

I may hold off for a while, :thinking2 or I think I will have to move house closer to the shops. Do I sound nervous?? Unless someone wants to make the decision for me, and take her away from harms way :deal2:

even my mum can drive my car (although she hates the tiptronic gearbox) sure it never see's above 2500rpm with her driving it, but she does think it is a very nice car.

The wife has made my mind up now by ordering a Mercedes C200K, so it's definitley up FOR SALE :sad3:

I will be able to watch VR4's sale past me me with ease, whilst I look on in envy :bigcry:

If anyone is interested or knows someone then please can you point them in this direction, still trying to get some photos.

Photos. If you haven't got a digital camera, just use your film camera and the developer can put them on CD.

I've been on holiday and have returned and the new car is now ready to collect, so will need to sell the VR4 as I can't afford to run them both. I have eventually got round to getting a picture.

The VR4 is now in the Autotrader for £5,495 ONO and will have 12 months MOT, from tomorrow and is completely unmodified.
