Maybe, just maybe I have solved my wheel wobble INSERT INTO post VALUES (he says touching wood) !

Thanks to Richie who today got his new alloys fitted and kindly lent me his original 16" wheels.

I had them put on this afternoon and the wobble has all but gone. Had it quite bad between 75-85mph, and have driven a good 20 miles stuck at 80mph and it's a lot better. Going to do a bit more testing tomorrow but fingers crossed a new set of alloys will finally cure it :D

Richie - cheers mate - I owe you a beer or two :D

Great news mate! hopefully you have pin pointed the problem.
Although new alloys won't be cheap at least it isn't something more serious!

Yeah - want to run the car a bit further tomorrow just to be sure and then will get on and order some alloys.

Called one place today for a price on Superleggera's and was told there are none in the country and none are expected until at least next April as Oz Racing broke the mould or something stupid ???

Any suggestions on what to go for ? Think it will be 17" x 7.5/8.0 with 225/45/17 tyres INSERT INTO post VALUES (probably Goodyear Eagle F1's).

Pete
