Ello again ..

I ran some crude tests with LM-1 (Cheers WODJ - you can pay me for the free plug later. ) and saw a couple of sub 10 readings for AFR under WOT.... If/When I go down the e-manage route will hope to *adjust* rates ...

I know a few peeps on here are using APEXi SAFC... was just wondering what
AFR values people had been aiming for, esp under WOT / upper RPM ranges.

Cheers

You would notice a big difference if you set it up for 11.3-11.5:1

You dont want to go a lot leaner than this, I think mine is set to about 11.8 up to 6000rpm and then drops off (this is past max power anyway)

Cheers Dave, This is done via your e-manage I guess? from 4500 to about 6k RPM?

I have adjustments from 3000rpm to 7500rpm! Just the adjustment is more conservative above 6000rpm

Cheers for the plug Pez

I actually Done some crude tests of me own this morn to.. /Hmmm

Idle was showing 14.5 to 14.6 AFR

Cruising was 14.4 to 14.6 AFR /yes

WOT was 12.9 to 12.7 AFR until it got to 6000rpm and then it started to richen up until it got to 7000rpm showing 11.1 AFR..

I was quite suprised by the readings and thought they were quite good. Alot less rich than i thought. And a lot less in need of an E-Manage to give me more power. I'm quite happy with those figures, but a may still fit the E-Manage anyway..

Did a test on mine today (N/A V6 ha ha) but the readings were almost identical to Wodj's. So the ratios may be very similar but the volumes...........................
Anyhow, cheers for the tests Wodj, some interesting stuff coming out there. Crackin bit of kit
