Anyone out there got or has views on the Garmin Streetpilot i3. It looks nice and small and easy t use to a simple soul like me and only £169.99 in Dixons.

I have a streetpilot (not this model) that I used years ago.
The receiver was very good, and could store maps in the unit - but there were no routing capabilities on the unit.
It was necessary to do everthing on the PC and upload the route to the unit...
I don't know what features the new one has, but at that price I might guess it has limited routing capabilities?

Simple to use, accepts full postcode entry. Bought one for my mum and even she has no trouble using it. Downside: eats batteries, although you can plug it in through the ciggy lighter. The volume on its highest setting isn't that great.
Overall, worth the money and very portable.
