I dropped the car in for its usual oil change and asked them to check the brakes. As getting some odd noises. /help
"Well sir your brakes are fine, BUT YOU DRIVERS SIDE WHEEL BEARING IS SHOT!!!" :embarasse
So with two 300 mile round trips planned, in the next week, no choice but to say "go ahead".
"But Mitsu may not have any in stock" :bigcry:
So after a long walk and some improtue widow shopping, returned to find the car just back from a test drive and a bill for €600 (£400), including the oil change, and that was then being nice because I am such a great guy.
Ah well no one ever said it would be a cheap car to run and keep. /yes
