Having just replaced my aftermarket steering wheel the airbag light remains on. Not good as i have an sva test on monday.
Anyone know how to reset this or is it a dealer job?

I would guess it was a MUTII type job to reset it ?

I have removed my steering wheel, then had ignition on (with air bag light not going out for 10 or more minutes whilst I fiddled) then replaced the wheel and turned the ignition back on. The SRS light did not then stay on.
I would be suspicious that your air bag is not connected properly or is kaput.

Well I sincerely hope it isn't. I'll have another look at the connection, diconnect & reconnect. See what happens then.
The SRS light is blown as well - contemplating the 1/2-hour drive to Putney to see if the Mitsi dealer has any. They never pick up the phone!

i had the passenger air bag disabled (on my old v6 sport) for a while, to allow a baby seat in the front, I simply reconnected the connectors and the SRS light went out......
sounds like an issue with the airbag or hopefully just the connectors - check the passenger air bag as well in case it was disabled for whatever reason
Had same sva prob, as far as I know it was plugged into a machine and reset.
