It looks as if the new 9G Galant (Called the 380 in Australia/New Zealand) is proving quite popular. I am seeing 2-3 a day now in Auckland

I kinda hope it is successful, even though the styling is not of my taste. The more of these cars around the more successful Mitsubishi will be here. If Mitsubishi continues to be here we can continue to receive good support for our cars.

Also if the new Lancer, which the Concept X is based on, is also successful, the fortunes of Mitsubishi should improve.

I wish them luck.

BTW: I still think the 8G is still the best looking Mitsubishi Product.

it'll be nice if 380 meant 380hp

Yeah I've seen quite a few around as well. It is damned ugly, the interior and everything is really bad imho.

I took some photos of the new Mitsubishi 380 GT a couple of months ago when I had the fortune of having it sitting in my driveway. :smug:

It was a nice drive, but I still prefer the 'rawness' of our 8G VR-4. /Steeringw

I'll post the photos online when I get home tonight.

Quite like it myself, very much a 'managers' car style and finish wise so should appeal to the market it's aimed at. Got a hell of a write up in Aust, blew away the opposition for looks, ride, finish etc.
Motor runs the cams from the Ralliart Diamante and suspension is derived from there as well so seems to handle well.
I still prefer my 8g as well, it's just a matter of preferred choice.
