Nothing out of the ordinary, a 100% stock 1999 Legnum VR4. Imported it from Nippon myself, so I'm the 1st Kiwi owner. Well I did a small mod yesterday; installed reversing sensors - there's four small sensors in the back bumper, though you can't easily see them, because they're black and blend perfectly with the black of the bumper.

Also can anyone confirm if it's a Type-S or a Type-V? I think it is a Type-S, but am not 100% sure.

Welcome, the car looks good, theres not as many black ones in NZ yet.
Look forward to seeing you at some meets. As for the TypeS/V i think theres some discussion already, so do a quick search, and someone is bound to know.

Nice motor and looks stunninig in black congrats.

Defo looks like a type S to me, right wheels, and wheelarch extensions.

But the dead give away is, the AYC if it has it, its a type S.

Hope you enjoy the car, the smile on your face will just keep getting bigger. /Steeringw :evil2: /Steeringw

Very nice...Definitely looks like a type-S...

The easiest way to tell AYC, if you've got it 3 bars that light up in the botom middle of the dash when you start it, and then agaoin when you are giving it hell in the corners.

Are you going to leave it unmodded?

Type S, wheel arches and wider mags. You have a very nice looking car, reminds me of my old black facelift legnum.
Does it have a Momo wheel and Recaro seats?

No a Nardi Torino wheel and standard seats. Nothing special inside. Cloth interior...

I almost have all the brochures I need to put and end to this 'What VR4' Malarky. Just need to get them translated.
