Looking at the UK cars, incl the grey imports I see they all have a rear foglamp fitted. Is this a legal requirement? I'd like a rear fog on my legnum, how much would something like this cost to fit - see pic:

fog lamps are a legal requirement in the UK.

as ive not seen imported vehicles i dont know how they are wired up but i guess you could wire up a switch mounted on the dash somewhere.

as to where to buy them.. i can find out

gis a bit to find out.

Fog lamps are a legal requirement on UK cars and we typically have three styles used on the VR4s.

1. Official UK import through Ralliart where the foglight is built into the bumper (as on Nick Manns Legnum below)

http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&id=905

2. Unofficial UK import where the foglight is mounted on a bracket beneath the rear bumper as per you picture above.

3. Sneaky rewiring where some of the rear light cluster is rewired to operate as a fog light.

Doubt any of these options would cost much at all, and I'm sure you can find details of option 3 in the members area.
